Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas exploration and production company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin and the Greater Mediterranean region, provides the following update regarding the Rockhopper Share Incentive Plan ("SIP"). The Directors named below have acquired a further interest in Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the Company as a result of their participation in the SIP in March 2018. The Partnership Shares were acquired using cash contributed by the Directors.

Total Voting Rights
In respect of the month of March 2018, the Company has on 26 March 2018 issued 23,466 new ordinary shares as part of the Company's Share Incentive Plan ("SIP").
In conformity with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company confirms that, as at 28 March 2018, the issued ordinary share capital of the Company consisted of 457,340,718 shares with voting rights attached (one vote per ordinary share).
The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury at the date of this disclosure. The issued share capital figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
The issue of shares under the SIP has been made under the Company's existing block listing entitlements.
