NewMedia SPARK plc appoints Andrew Betton as Finance Director



NewMedia SPARK plc ('SPARK') announces that it has today appointed Andrew Betton
as Finance Director. Andy, 34, has been part of the SPARK management team since
joining SPARK in December 2000 and has been the Company Secretary since August
2003. Andy qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996 and holds an economics
degree from Cambridge University.



Commenting on the appointment, Tom Teichman, Chairman of NewMedia SPARK plc
said: 'We welcome the addition to the Board of Andy Betton who has been an
important member of the management team over the last four years.'
