NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS STOCK PURCHASES

NewMedia SPARK plc ('SPARK') announces that three directors have today chosen to purchase shares in SPARK by exercising 
share options originally granted under the NewMedia SPARK plc 2001 share option scheme. These share options are over 
existing ordinary 2.5p shares held by the NewMedia SPARK Employee Benefit Trust.
