Recommended Offer for Internet Indirect plc ('Internet Indirect')
Offer Document posted
The board of SPARK announces that the formal offer document (the 'Offer
Document') containing details of the recommended offer (the 'Offer') by Peel
Hunt plc on behalf of SPARK to acquire the whole of the issued and to be
issued share capital of Internet Indirect was posted to shareholders of
Internet Indirect today, 30 October 2000. The first closing date of the Offer
is 3.00 p.m. on 20 November 2000.
Copies of the Offer Document are available (other than to persons in the
United States, Canada, Australia or Japan) from the offices of Peel Hunt plc,
6th Floor, 62 Threadneedle Street, London EC2 and the offices of Nabarro
Nathanson, Lacon House, 84 Theobald's Road, London WC1.
Irrevocable undertakings and letters of intent to accept the Offer have now
been received from shareholders of Internet Indirect in respect of
shareholdings which amount, in aggregate, to 126,104,897 Internet Indirect
Shares, representing approximately 39.4 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital of Internet Indirect.
