Purchase of own shares
NewMedia SPARK plc (the 'Company')
The Company announces that today it purchased 1,000,000 of its Ordinary Shares
of 2.5p at a price of 14.5p per share.
These shares will be held in Treasury.
This purchase equates to 0.24% of the Company's issued share capital.
For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at the date of this
notice is £11,818,393 consisting of 472,735,729 Ordinary shares of 2.5p of which
57,390,949 are now held as Treasury shares. The total number of voting rights in
the Company is therefore 415,344,780.
The above figure of 415,344,780 may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
