Eurolink Managed Services PLC ('EMS')
EMS today announced that its sole operating subsidiary, RDF Consulting Ltd
('RDF'), a well-established UK-based software development and IT outsourcing
house, has been awarded a 3-year IT services contract with Northern Rock plc
('Northern Rock'). This contract, worth in excess of £5m to RDF, provides
Northern Rock with a cost-effective and flexible solution to delivering its
wide-ranging needs for 'thin client' software development, support and
maintenance.
David Wood, Managing Director of EMS, commented 'This is the culmination of the
RDF team working very closely with Northern Rock staff over several years,
delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget. It provides RDF
with committed work levels, the opportunity to manage its costs more effectively
and a platform for future growth.'
Since 1994, RDF has been providing a portfolio of blue chip clients with groups
of skilled resources, as managed teams. RDF now has excellent software
development facilities in Brighton and Livingston, with over 100 people working
in managed teams, both on-site and off-site, providing consultancy, development,
maintenance and support services.
