CHAIRMAN
Norish plc is pleased to announce the appointment of John Paterson as Chairman.
Mr Paterson joined the Board of Norish in 1994 as a non-Executive Director. He
has extensive experience in the food industry and in financial services. Mr
Paterson succeeds Brian Joyce who has decided to retire as Chairman and Director
of Norish plc for personal reasons. Mr Joyce joined the Board as Chairman in
1993.
Commenting on the announcement today, Brian Joyce said: 'I am pleased to have
contributed to the restructuring of Norish and towards placing it on a sound
economic footing. The new management has done a good job in turning the Company
around and I am confident its basic business has a good future. Mr Paterson has
contributed to this success as a long term U.K. Director of the Company. With
all the operating centres in the United Kingdom, his knowledge of the U.K.
market is valuable to the Company'.
