ROLLS-ROYCE APPOINTS WENDY MARS
AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Rolls-Royce today announces the appointment of Wendy Mars as a Non-Executive Director. Wendy will join the Board with effect from 8 December 2021 and, on appointment, she will become a member of the Nominations & Governance Committee.
An engineer by training, Wendy is currently President of Cisco's Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia region, a $13 billion revenue business. She oversees diverse teams of over 14,000 employees, across sales, engineering and innovation, in 123 countries, driving technology transformation and sustainability for customers across a broad range of sectors.
Wendy joined Cisco in 2008 and has held various senior positions. Prior to this, she worked at ThruPoint, a global consultancy and provider of technology solutions serving as the Global CTO, having begun her career in IT with Morgan Stanley.
