CHANGES TO THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS



Rolls-Royce has today announced changes in the responsibilities of two of its
executive directors.

With immediate effect, John Cheffins is appointed Chief Operating Officer.  In
this new role, he will continue to undertake his existing responsibilities as
President - Civil Aerospace.

Also with immediate effect, Colin Green is appointed President - Defence
Aerospace, having previously held the position of Director - Operations.
