Holding in company

Rotala plc ('Rotala') has been notified that, further to a group re-organisation
and de-merger, Prestbury Investment Holdings Limited ('PIHL') no longer has a
disclosable shareholding in Rotala. The 10,000,000 shares in Rotala formerly
owned by PIHL have been transferred to PIHL Equity LLP, which is now the
beneficial owner of the shares. Mr. N. Wray and Mr. N. Leslau are deemed to be
interested in all the shares of the Company owned by PIHL Equity LLP.

Following the Placing of 108,333,334 new Rotala shares announced on 30 March
2006, the interest of PIHL Equity LLP represents a shareholding of 3.56% in
the enlarged share capital of Rotala.
