Electrocomponents appoints new Non-Executive Directors
Electrocomponents plc, the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Guerra and John Pattullo as Non-Executive Directors of the Company. Their appointments will become effective as of 1 January 2013.
Karen is currently a Non-Executive Director of Amcor Limited, Swedish Match AB, Samlerhuset Group BV. and Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A. Previously, she was a Non-Executive Director at Inchcape plc and More Group plc and has held senior executive positions at Colgate-Palmolive, including Managing Director and Chairman of both their UK and French businesses, following a career in marketing.
John recently retired as CEO of CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, and continues to serve on the CEVA Board. Previously, he was CEO of the EMEA division of Exel and when Exel was acquired by Deutsche Post/ DHL, he went on to run the combined Exel and DHL contract logistics business in EMEA. He spent most of his early career working in supply chain management roles with Procter & Gamble, including heading the total P&G supply chain organisations in both Europe and Asia.

Karen Guerra - career summary
Mrs Guerra has been a Non-Executive Director of Amcor Limited since 2010, having held senior executive positions at Colgate-Palmolive, including Managing Director and Chairman of both their UK and French businesses, between 1998-2006. Ms Guerra is also a Non-Executive Director of Swedish Match AB (since 2008), Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A (since 2010) and Samlerhuset BV (since 2009). Mrs Guerra holds a degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester and is based in Switzerland.
John Pattullo - career summary
Mr Pattullo was appointed as CEO to the CEVA Group in August 2007. He has recently retired and continues to serve on the CEVA Board. During his early career he worked in supply chain management roles within Procter & Gamble, including heading the total P&G supply chain organisations in both Europe and Asia. In 2004, Mr Pattullo joined Exel, where he was CEO of the €6 billion EMEA division (freight forwarding and contract logistics). When Exel was acquired by Deutsche Post/ DHL, he then ran the combined Exel and DHL contract logistics business in EMEA.
