Electrocomponents plc ('The Company')
The Company announces the following:
In July 1999, the Remuneration Committee recommended to the Trustees of the
Long Term Incentive Plan that, in accordance with the Performance Criteria, Mr
R A Lawson (Group Chief Executive) be awarded options over 17,639 ordinary
shares (the original conditional award being 36,220 shares). The Company has
today been informed that on 14 September 1999, Mr Lawson applied to the
Trustee for the beneficial ownership of the shares to be transferred to him.
The closing mid market price of shares in Electrocomponents plc on 14
September 1999 was 532.5p.
