ATA Group PLC
02 March 2006
Following its announcement dated 30 January of the death of Clive Chapman, Chief
Executive, the Board of ATA Group Plc engaged in a continuing review of the
implications of his loss including current trading and board composition. This
includes a review of the options open to the Board to ensure continuing growth
of the Company's businesses and further strategic development of the Group.
The announcement of 30 January has of itself led to a number of early stage
proposals of varying structures from third parties, which are being reviewed by
the Board and its nominated adviser, Williams de Broe. All of these proposals
will be carefully considered by the Board with a view to maximising shareholder
value. For the avoidance of doubt, there have been no proposals received in
respect of an offer for the Company. Further announcements will be made as and
when appropriate.
