AorTech International plc ('the Company') announces that pursuant to the
exercise of options under the Company's Share Option Scheme, it has allotted
20,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the Company. These shares rank pari
passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company.
Application has been made to the Stock Exchange for these shares to be quoted
on AIM and it is expected that dealings will commence on Friday 23 February
2001.
