                                 AGM Statement

AorTech International plc (AIM: AOR) ('AorTech' or the 'Company'), the medical
device development and biomaterials intellectual property and licensing company,
is holding its Annual General Meeting today at noon, at Biggart Baillie, Dalmore
House, 310 St Vincent Street, Glasgow. Jon Pither, Chairman, will make the
following statement to shareholders:

'Further to our preliminary results announcement on 31 August 2006, we are
pleased to report that current trading continues to be in line with the Board's
expectations.'
