                                Business Update

AorTech International (AIM:AOR), the medical device development and biomaterials
company today provides an update on the Company in relation to its Elast-EonTM
co-polymer and associated products.

As announced in the interim results on 6 December 2006 the robust condition of
the Company's polymer licensing and supply business has provided the basis for
the Company to be selective in its choice of partners for its Elast-EonTM
co-polymer and associated products, such as cardiac pacing leads, heart valves
and breast implants amongst others. The Company is pleased to announce that its
discussions with various partners continue to proceed in line with expectations
and the Board intends to update shareholders once agreements are finalised.

Further to the above, the Board also confirms it is pursuing a number of
financing strategies, including an equity raise, to provide development capital
and to strengthen the balance sheet of the Company.
