Aortech International Plc was notified that Roy Mitchell a Non-Executive Director of the Company purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 83.88 pence per Ordinary Share on 8^th October 2013.

 Following this transaction Mr. Mitchell is now interested in 360,163 Ordinary Shares representing 7.45 per cent. of the total voting rights in the Company.
