                            Director's Shareholding


AorTech (AIM: AOR) announces that it received notification today from Edward
McDaid, a Non-executive Director of the Company, that his beneficial holding in
437,107 ordinary shares in the Company (which represents approximately 11.47 per
cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company), which is currently
held in Melody Investments Ltd, has been transferred into the names of Mr McDaid
and his wife, with effect from 30 June 2006. There has been no change in the
beneficial ownership of these shares.
