                               Directorate Change

AorTech International plc (AIM:AOR), the biomaterials intellectual property and
licensing company, announces the appointment of James Gordon Wright (aged 59)
and Edward McDaid (aged 57) as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with
effect from Monday, 14 November 2005.

The Company is approaching an important phase in the potential commercialisation
of it's bio-materials. The Board welcome the appointment of Gordon and Edward
and believe they will provide appropriate business expertise to assist in the
determination of the Company's future strategy. Gordon Wright and Edward McDaid
are the original founders of the Company.

Gordon Wright represents Caricature Investments Limited which owns 447,107
shares in the Company, being approximately 11.7% of the issued share capital.
Edward McDaid represents Melody Investments Limited and PKF Trustees Limited,
which have a combined interest in 499,383 shares, being approximately 13.1% of
the issued share capital.
