AorTech International plc ('the Company') announces that it received
notification today from ISIS Asset Management plc that as a result of a purchase
of 181,704 ordinary shares of 250p each in the capital of the Company ('Shares')
on 5 May 2004, the following fund management companies in the Friends Provident
group are interested in the Shares referred to below through client holdings:
ISIS Asset Management plc is interested in the following Shares:

Management plc referred to below:
