Commenting on the appointment, Peter Earl, Managing Director of Rurelec, said: "I am delighted that Pablo has agreed to join the board of Rurelec as a Non-Executive Director. Rurelec's Independent Power Corporation (IPC) subsidiary is increasingly being retained to help owners of oil and gas fields convert their reserves into electricity through new power plants in emerging markets which monetise the value of what they have in the ground. Pablo's experience will help us to find other opportunities for IPC's business to grow."
