The issuer has advised that the following amendment should be made to the
Directors Shareholding announcement released today with a reference number of
4640N. The number of Ordinary Shares sold by Dr. Anthony Ryan was 1,800,000
and not 18,000,000 as per the original announcement. The revised announcement
is attached below.

Ryanair Holdings plc announced today (21.11.01) that Dr. Anthony Ryan a
director of the company had sold 1,800,000 Ordinary Shares with a par value of
Euro2.54 cents at a price of Euro11.85 each on the 16th of November 2001.
