                     Notification of Significant Interest

Ryanair announces that it received a notification from Fidelity Investments on
4 July, 2001 pursuant to Section 67 of the Companies Act, 1990. This
notification stated that FMR Corp. and Fidelity International Limited (and
certain of their respective subsidiaries) now hold, in aggregate, 36,284,486
Ordinary Shares in Ryanair representing 10.02% of the current issued ordinary
share capital of Ryanair.
