                     Notification of Significant Interest

Ryanair announces that it received a notification from Fidelity Investments on
14 November 2001 pursuant to Section 67 of the Companies Act, 1990. This
notification stated that FMR Corp. and Fidelity International Limited (and
certain of their respective direct and indirect subsidiaries) now hold, in
aggregate, 33,058,182 Ordinary Shares in Ryanair representing 9.13% of the
current issued ordinary share capital of Ryanair.
