Ryanair Holdings PLC 18 July 2002 Ryanair purchases two Boeing B737-800 Full Flight Simulators Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline today (Thursday, 18th July 2002) announced the purchase of two Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and two CAE SimfinityTM B737-800 Flight Management Systems Trainers (FMST). The total market value of the devices is approximately US $24 million. The agreement includes an option for a third Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulator. The purchase of these two full flight simulators, in addition to our existing simulators, will place Ryanair at the leading edge in flight simulator equipment. They will be installed at Ryanair's training facility in East Midlands, U.K. Commenting on the purchase of the new flight simulators, Ryanair's Director of Finance, Howard Millar, said: 'The purchase of two more CAE Boeing 737-800 FFSs and two CAE SimfinityTM FMSTs is a further commitment to Ryanair's state-of-the-art pilot training and flight safety systems.
