RYANAIR'S DECEMBER TRAFFIC DOWN 5%

Ryanair today (5 Jan) released passenger and load factor stats for Dec 2011 as follows:

	Dec 10	Dec 11	Change	Yr to Dec 11
Passengers (m) 1	5M	4.8M	-5%	76.4M
Load Factor 2	80%	79%	-1%	82%

Ryanair's Stephen McNamara said:

"As previously guided, Ryanair's 2011/12 winter traffic was expected to decline by approx 5% as we sit up to 80 aircraft on the ground due to higher oil prices."

2.   Passengers as a percentage of total seats available.
