Update on the International Environmental Trade Summit
Sabien Technology Group plc (AIM:SNT), the company focused on a green aggregation strategy, provides an update on the event to be held on Monday 24 October 2022 in Westminster, London.
The International Environmental Trade Summit ("the Summit") will bring together representatives from a range of countries, companies, and commitments. It will highlight the opportunity to think and act differently when assessing the apparent contradiction between economic development and environmental protection.
On behalf of the host Richard Parris, Chairman of Sabien Technology Group plc, keynote speaker HRH Queen Diambi Kabatusuila of the Congo, technology provider City Oil Field, Inc of South Korea, and the Korean Environmental Corporation, the Summit cordially invites interested parties to participate in this important event which will be held at One Birdcage Walk at 2pm on 24th October 2022.
The event will be the launch of a global initiative: leveraging UK trade and engineering expertise, Korean technology, and international partnership in order to generate sustainable economic growth.
It will focus on three critical and topical areas, each of which can be addressed by the conversion of the large and growing global reservoir of plastic waste into high quality fuel oil and feedstock for new plastic production.
Thematically, the conference agenda will adhere to a pragmatic programme which will enable:
· Better planet- reducing the need for the primary extraction of fossil fuels, thereby assisting the transition to net-zero and the stimulation local economies
· Cleaner planet- eliminating plastic pollution from land and sea through the use of emission-free technology specifically designed to support a circular economy
· Secure planet - supporting energy security through the secondary extraction of oil from existing waste, reducing dependency on Russia and OPEC for the provision of hydrocarbon based fuels and plastics
This represents a compelling program; the creation of a global enterprise committed to plastic-to-oil recycling, ESG compliant processes, and secure investment opportunities for local and global funds. It will disrupt and improve the fragmented global waste management industry through business innovation and trusted UK legal and ethical frameworks. It will establish and support new technology manufacturing industry in the UK.
Centrally, the program will achieve these goals through partnership with a community of nations, working towards a common good.
A direct local UK benefit is a significant contribution to UK energy security as an alternative or addition to fracking - 12.5% of UK plastic waste would offset 12.5% of Russian diesel imports. A secondary benefit is the use of the City Oil Field process as a means to store surplus renewable energy in the form of chemical energy for later use in transportation - a hydrocarbon storage battery for wind, solar and nuclear energy. This is pragmatic energy security in action not just in theory.
The Summit agenda will comprise:
1. A call for action to save the world from plastic pollution by HRH Queen Diambi of the Congo, a representative of more than 90 million people, indigenous to Africa and Brazil, and an international advocate for environmental change and sustainability
2. The role of Korean technology in enabling the capability and the rapid deployment of this solution in economic proximity to both source and use
3. How Sabien Technology Group plc proposes to provide an integrated global platform to deliver a solution across multiple nations
Locally, Sabien has targeted specific UK sites for initial deployments and has expressions of interest from Canada, the East Africa Federation, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey, UAE, USA for additional installations. An SPV, b.grn Group Ltd, has been established to roll out these deployments across multiple countries and an investment term sheet is available for inspection.
The Summit represents a clear coincidence of needs and wants. The global community needs to address the accelerating problem of plastic waste and it wants to do so in a manner which does not conflict with economic stability.
By raising awareness of a possible solution, Sabien and its partners have a clear opportunity to establish international leadership while further partnering with nations and supranational bodies, all committed to the same goal.
Investors, and other stakeholders, are invited to contact Sabien at events@sabien.com, to secure their place at this rescheduled event.
Richard Parris, Chairman of Sabien, commented:
"I urge you to attend this landmark event if, like me, you are passionate about delivering positive environmental impact through international collaboration, innovative engineering and ESG investment. This programme will, I believe, deliver a step change for Sabien investors, provide compelling returns for prospective b.grn funders and contribute to a better, cleaner, more secure planet."
