Safeland announces that it was yesterday informed that Mr Paul Davis has
exercised options, at 70p, over 71,428 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary
Shares') and yesterday sold 71,428 Ordinary Shares at 80p per share.

Following the above exercise and sale, Mr Paul Davis holds 97,385 Ordinary
Shares representing 0.53% of the enlarged ordinary issued share capital of the
Company.

Application will be made for the 71,428 new Ordinary Shares resulting from the
above exercise to be admitted to the Official List  and it is expected that such
admission will become effective and that dealings in the 71,428 new Ordinary
Shares will commence on 17 March 2005.
