Date of appointment of new CFO

Further to the announcement made on 30^th January 2013 regarding directorate changes, Safestore announces that Andy Jones' appointment as Chief Financial Officer of the Company will commence on 7^th May 2013. In order to ensure an orderly transition, Richard Hodsden will remain with the Company until 31^st May 2013.

The Company confirms that there are no disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R (1)-(6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority regarding the appointment of Andy Jones.
