Board Appointment

Safestyle UK plc (AIM: SFE), the leading UK focused retailer and manufacturer of PVCu replacement windows and doors for the homeowner market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Joyner to the Board of Safestyle as an Executive Director in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect.

Phil joined Safestyle as Group Financial Controller in June 2018 and was appointed as Finance Director in January 2023, following Rob Neale's appointment as CEO.  He has over 20 years' finance experience and, prior to joining Safestyle, Phil held senior finance leadership roles in the pharmaceutical, food manufacturing and retail sectors. His experience has included both listed and PE-backed businesses in the UK and overseas.  He has significant experience in developing high-performing finance teams, debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and stakeholder management.

Phil is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Philip Joyner (aged 43) does not currently hold, nor has held within the last five years, any Directorships or Partnerships.

He holds a beneficial interest in 71,158 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.05 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
