Board Changes

At the Annual General Meeting to be held on 2 March 2011, Tim Ingram will retire from the Board of Directors of The Sage Group plc after nine years as a non-executive director. Mr Ingram has been senior independent director of the Company since July 2007 and, following his retirement, the role will be assumed by Ruth Markland, a non-executive director of the Company since September 2006.
Tony Hobson, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, said:-
"Tim has been a great colleague and wonderful contributor to the Board and the wider business. We will miss his wise counsel enormously".

Tim Ingram was appointed to the Group Board in March 2002, becoming Senior Independent Director in July 2007. Having served as a non-executive director of the Company for nine years, he is now retiring from his role as senior independent director in keeping with the requirements of the UK Corporate Governance Code. Mr Ingram remains Chairman of Collins Stewart plc and a non-executive director of Savills plc and Alliance Trust plc.
