DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS

The Company has been informed that on 22 June 2009 Mr P S Harrison, a director of the Company, exercised an option over 186,567 Ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at an exercise price of 134 pence per share under the terms of The Sage Group 1999 Executive Share Option Scheme.

On the same day Mr Harrison subsequently sold 186,567 Ordinary shares of 1 p each at a price of 182.85 pence per share.
