Non-Executive Board Changes
At today's AGM, Chairman Sir George Bull announced that: 'After eight years on
the Board Sir Terence Heiser will retire following today's meeting. We would
like to thank him for his considerable efforts as Chairman of the Audit
Committee and his service with the Pensions Trustees.
'On the retirement of Sir Terence, I am pleased to announce that Jamie Dundas,
Chief Executive of MEPC, has agreed to join the Board as a Non-Executive
Director later this summer. Prior to joining MEPC plc in 1997, Jamie was the
Finance Director of the Hong Kong Airport Authority which he joined from the
Morgan Grenfell Group.
'Mr Dundas will bring additional financial and property development experience
to the Board at a time when the group's activity in the latter is increasing.
'I am also pleased to announce that Jamie Dundas has agreed to chair the Audit
Committee in succession to Sir Terence.'
