Roger Matthews to Join as Group Finance Director

On 8th October the Company announced that Mr Roger Matthews would join the
board in November 1999 as Group Finance Director succeeding Miss Rosemary
Thorne. This appointment takes effect on 15th November. Miss Thorne will leave
the Company and the Board on 30th November.
