San Leon Energy, the AIM listed company focused on oil and gas development and appraisal in Africa and Europe, today announces the decision of the Regional Court in Warsaw, Poland, in relation to the dispute between certain of the Company's subsidiaries, including Aurelian Oil & Gas Limited (together, "Aurelian") and Avobone N.V. and Avobone Poland B.V. (together, "Avobone").
As announced on 26 May 2015, the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC") found against Aurelian in its dispute with Avobone over the Siekierki asset in the Poznan area of Poland. Today, the Regional Court recognised the ICC award and its enforceability on Aurelian, or one or more of its constituent companies, in Poland.
The Aurelian subsidiaries have leave to appeal the decision.
