Lewino-1G2 Fracture Approvals Obtained
San Leon is pleased to announce that all necessary approvals have been obtained to perform the hydraulic fracture work on the Lewino-1G2 well, Gdansk W concession in the Baltic Basin, described in the announcement dated 8 May 2013. Mobilisation will commence shortly, and operations are expected to commence during the first week of July. Following the fracture operations the well will have production tubing installed and be flowed for up to 30 days.
This will be the first frack operation under the framework agreement with UOS. San Leon now has 100% equity interest in this concession.
Executive Chairman, Oisin Fanning commented:
"We are excited to be performing the work which will test the potential of our extensive Baltic Basin acreage. Lewino-1G2, in what the Company believes to be in the sweet spot in the Baltic Basin, will be the third well operation undertaken by the Company in Poland over the past few months."
