Sanctuary Retains G1 And V2 Governance Ratings

Sanctuary has retained its G1 governance and V2 viability ratings from the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) following a planned inspection.

The ratings reflect both the ongoing strength of Sanctuary's governance arrangements and its continued financial stability and resilience, whilst successfully completing the acquisition of both Swan Housing Association and Johnnie Johnson Housing.

In addition, the Regulator has also inspected Sanctuary for the first time under its new consumer standard and the C2 rating demonstrates that Sanctuary is generally meeting the consumer standards expected by the Regulator.

Craig Moule, Group Chief Executive, said: "Sanctuary is a leading provider of affordable housing and care in England and Scotland. Today's grading from the Regulator of Social Housing confirms we are well-governed and financially resilient.

"We recognise there is more to do and will use the feedback we received to ensure we are putting our customers first and continue to improve the services we provide."
