Acquisition of residential estate agency and building
            consultancy business


The Directors of Savills plc ('Savills') are pleased to
announce the acquisition by its wholly owned subsidiary,
FPDSavills Limited, of G E Sworder Limited, a residential
estate agency and building consultancy business in
Bishop's Stortford.

The value of the net assets acquired as shown in the
audited accounts for the year ended 30 November 1999
(audited) is approximately £58,000.

Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, Director of Savills, commented:

some while now as a link with the operating areas of our
