SAVILLS ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGE
The Directors of Savills plc ('Savills') announce that Victoria
Mitchell, Executive Director, is, at her own request, to resign
from the Board of Savills plc with effect from 31 December 2000
to pursue outside interests. Victoria will remain with the Group
on a consultancy basis, supporting the London based Development
team and dealing with a small number of nominated clients.
Victoria Mitchell says:
'It has been a real privilege to have played a role in helping to
develop the Company into the position it holds today as one of
the undisputed leading international property advisers. When I
joined there were about 30 people in 3 offices in England - we
now have over 11,000 employees in 18 countries with 85 offices
world wide. I am really proud of what has been achieved and am
looking forward to my continued involvement in the future.'
Richard Jewson, Savills' Chairman, says:
'Victoria's contribution to the Board over the last 13 years has
been tremendous and we are most grateful for her commitment and
vision. I am delighted that we will continue to benefit from her
great qualities in her new role as a consultant.'
