                       AGM STATEMENT
                             
At todays Annual General Meeting, Richard Jewson, Chairman
of Savills plc, made the following comments:

As I reported in July, the year started strongly across
the full range of our services.

The residential market continues to be buoyant and trading
in our residential offices is substantially better than
this time last year. Commercial markets are also performing
well both in the UK and in Europe where the Group has
secured some notable instructions.  Grosvenor Hill Ventures
continues to build on last years excellent result, taking
advantage of a number of opportunities presented within the
principal trading activities.

I am pleased to confirm that trading for the first four
months is ahead of our expectations and the Board is
confident that this trend will continue for the remainder
of the year.
