Changes in Non-Executive Directors
Savills, the international property adviser, is pleased to announce the
appointments of Fields Wicker-Miurin and Tim Ingram as Non-Executive Directors
with effect from 27 June 2002.
Fields Wicker-Miurin has over 20 years' experience of business management and
strategy, international finance, innovation and early stage technology
businesses in the USA, UK and Europe. Fields is a Non-Executive Director of
United Business Media plc and a member of the Nasdaq Technology Advisory Council
in New York. She has recently been appointed as one of three independent members
of the newly created Executive Board of the DTI. Fields has also been selected
to serve on the 'Panel of Experts' advising the EU Parliament's Committee on
Economic and Monetary Affairs on all issues relating to the harmonisation of
financial services across the EU.
Fields was previously Chief Financial Officer and Director of Strategy at the
London Stock Exchange and Managing Director of Vesta Capital Advisors, a
pan-European venture capital firm. Fields is a Fellow of the RSA, a 'Global
Leader of Tomorrow' of the World Economic Forum, and is a Trustee of Arts &
Business and several other arts organisations.
Tim Ingram's career before 1995 was spent working mainly abroad in the banking
sector, including over 20 years at Grindlays Bank and Chief Executive of First
National Finance Corporation plc (FNFC). In 1995 he moved to Abbey National plc
on its take-over of FNFC and in 1996 became a main Board Director. His banking
experience at Abbey National included the Chairmanship of its Continental
European subsidiaries and of its UK Finance House subsidiary (First National
Bank). He left Abbey National plc in February 2002.
Tim was appointed Chief Executive of Caledonia Investments plc on 10 June 2002
and joined The Sage Group plc as a Non-Executive Director in March 2002. He was
also a Non-Executive Director of Hogg Robinson plc between March 1999 and June
2000.
There are no details to disclose in respect of either Fields Wicker-Miurin or
Tim Ingram under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
The Directors also announce that David Craig has, at his own request, decided to
resign as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 June 2002 due to growing
business commitments.
