SAVILLS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
Savills plc, the international property services company, is pleased to announce
the appointment of Mark Dearsley as Group Finance Director. He will join the
Board of Savills plc as an Executive Director with effect from 3 September 2007.
Mr. Dearsley worked from 1998 to 2007 for Aviva, the international savings,
investments and insurance group. He was Finance Director for Aviva Europe and
International, the division which is responsible for Aviva's operations outside
the UK. In this position, Mr. Dearsley was responsible for strategy, business
development, finance, risk and compliance for a division comprising over 20
international businesses with operating profits of £1.9 billion. During his
tenure as Finance Director, he handled some notable transactions including the
acquisition of Amer US for $3 billion in July 2006. Until late 2004, Mr.
Dearsley was Aviva's Group Mergers & Acquisitions Director.
Prior to working with Aviva, Mr. Dearsley held several roles at Charterhouse
Bank Limited, the investment bank, becoming a Board Director in 1996.
Commenting on the appointment, Aubrey Adams, Group Chief Executive of Savills
plc said:

commercial and international experience will be of great value as we grow the
business in the UK and overseas.'
In relation to the appointment, it is confirmed that there are no further
details to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
