SAVILLS ANNOUNCES NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Savills plc, the international real estate advisor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Freshwater (66) as an additional Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2012.
From 2005 to date, Tim has been Vice Chairman, Goldman Sachs (Asia), having been Managing Director and Chairman, Corporate Finance from 2001. Tim is also currently non-executive chairman of Grosvenor Asia Pacific Limited and a non-executive director of Aquarius Platinum Limited, Chong Hing Bank Limited, COSCO Pacific Limited and Swire Pacific Limited.
Prior to 2001, Tim was with Jardine Fleming from 1996, becoming Group Chairman in 1999.
Tim joined Jardine Fleming after a long career with leading UK law firm Slaughter and May, as a partner from 1975 specialising in corporate law. He was subsequently Senior Partner, Hong Kong (1981-85) before returning to the UK to become a member of the Partnership Board (1990-96) and holding the role of Head of Corporate Practice (1993-96).
