NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS
Today, 20 July 1999, the Trustee of The Savills plc 1992 Employee Benefit
Trust (the 'Trustee') granted 924,500 share options under the Savills plc 1992
Executive Share Option Scheme (the 'Scheme'). Therefore, the potential
beneficial interest in the above Trust of all of the Directors of Savills plc
who are employed by the Group has reduced to 1,788,285 ordinary shares of 5
pence each in the Company, representing 3.32% of the Company's issued share
capital.
In addition, of the aforementioned grant, share options were granted to three
Directors of Savills plc as follows:

Jeremy Helsby 30,000 115,000
Simon Hope 30,000 140,000
Rupert Sebag-Montefiore 15,000 135,000
No consideration was payable for the grant of the option. The option is
normally exercisable at any time between 20 July 2004 and 19 July 2006. The
exercise price is determined by the Trustee and is £1 per exercise.
