NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' INTERESTS IN SHARES

Following the exercise of an option under the Savills plc Sharesave Scheme over
1,652 shares of 5p each of Savills plc and also the allotment to Savills QUEST
Trustees Limited, the Trustee of the Savills plc Sharesave Scheme, of 661 shares
of 5p, each with effect from today, 9 August 2000, the potential beneficial
interest of all the Executive Directors of Savills plc who are employed by the
Group in shares held by Savills QUEST Trustees Limited decreased to 849,823
Ordinary shares in the Company, representing 1.36% of the Company's issued share
capital.
