            Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2001


                               Dividend Statement


Further to the announcement of the Preliminary Results for the year ended 31
December 2001, the Company announces that the full year dividend of 6.5p is
recommended and, assuming approval at the Annual General Meeting, will be paid
on 10 May 2002 to those shareholders on the register on the 12 April 2002.
