NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES


Notice was received today, 6th October 2005 that, following the sale of shares,
Caledonia Investments plc, no longer has a notifiable interest in the Ordinary
shares of 5 pence each of Savills plc. By virtue of the provisions of Section
203 of the Companies Act 1985, The Cayzer Trust Company Limited, a substantial
shareholder in Caledonia Investments plc, has also ceased to be interested in
the above mentioned shares.
