TR 1 Notification of Major Interest in Shares


The Company received notice on 18 December 2007 from Standard Life Investments
Limited in fulfilment of the obligations imposed by the Financial Services
Authority in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.  An acquisition
of shares on 17 December 2007 gives a total interest of 25,172,066 ordinary
shares representing 19.09% of the issued share capital of the Company.  The
controlled undertaking through which the voting rights are effectively held is
Standard Life Investments Limited.
