Savills plc (the "Company")
TR 1 Notification of Major Interest in Shares
Following a change in the custody arrangements of The Savills plc 1992 Employee Benefit Trust (the EBT), 10,101,480 shares previously held on behalf of the EBT by Nominees (Jersey) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group plc, have been transferred out of the custody of Lloyds Banking Group into the custody of Computershare Nominees (Channel Islands) Ltd. Notwithstanding these changes in custody arrangements, the shares continue to be held on behalf of the EBT.
As a result of and following this change in custody arrangements, Lloyds Banking Group advised on 29 October 2010, in fulfilment of the obligations imposed by the Financial Services Authority in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5, that it now holds voting rights in respect of shares representing 3.91% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Of the 5,151, 844 shares now held by Lloyds Banking Group, 5,129,978 shares (3.89%) are under the control of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Group Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scottish Widows Group Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds TSB Bank plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group plc (Indirect Interests).
As at 2 November 2010, the Company has 131,846,325 ordinary shares in issue, with the same number of voting rights.
