                  Preliminary results, Tuesday 6 March 2001


Savills plc, the international property adviser, will announce preliminary
results for the eight months ended 31 December 2000 - the first results to
reflect the company's new financial year end.

For comparison, pro forma figures for the twelve month periods to 31 December
2000 and 1999 will also be provided.
